Barfoot & Thompson, DIAKRIT’s exclusive partners in Auckland, have recently been named the Best Real Estate company in the world at the acclaimed International Property Awards in London.
Adding to their collection of awards attained at the International Property awards over the last 4 years, Barfoot & Thompson have also this year taken out two of the three awards for the Asia Pacific region: one for the Best Agency over 20 Offices and the other for Best Marketing of the Nugent Rise project, with a nomination for Best Lettings Agency.
Auckland’s largest real estate agency also featured in the last edition of the CEO Magazine, where Chris Dobbie (CEO) spoke about Barfoot & Thompsons 90-year history in New Zealand and how the family owned business continue to look ahead and invest in new digital initiatives, such as partnering with DIAKRIT across their 75 offices.
The article goes on to mention how Barfoot & Thompson’s capacity to add virtual reality not only to inspect homes, but also to virtually arrange furniture and renovate the home greatly enhances the buyer’s experience. Vendors are also reaping the benefits of having their listing feature DIAKRIT’s interactive property marketing tools, with the following stats having been reported from Barfoot & Thompson’s website:
– Buyers are spending on average over two-and-a-half times more time on listings with DIAKRIT tools overall
– More than 125% increase in total enquiries generated
– More than 195% increase in the rate of clicks and views of your property images within your listing
“The world is changing at a record rate, and technology is playing a big part in that. We need to take people on the journey with us” Chris says. “We’re always mindful of what’s out there in the marketplace, but we very much believe in what we’re doing. We believe we have the best salespeople and property-management people on our team, and we just need to provide them with the tools to do their job.”
