In the green and lush Kristineberg castle park in Kungsholmen Stockholm, a new living quarter will emerge. On Sunday 3rd September one of Northern Europe’s leading residential developers, Bonava, premiered two of their new building projects Kvarteret (The Neighbourhood) and Parkhuset (The Parkhouse) set to be completed by late 2019. Over 800 visitors had pre-registered for the event, which saw great interest from everyone who attended on the day.
The premiere also displayed DIAKRIT’s Local Area Panorama, which Bonava chose to use as a visualization tool to showcase how the exterior parts of the neighbourhood will look once complete. By combining our exterior Photo Panorama™ and 3D Panorama™ (both VR-compatible), we were able to showcase Bonava’s new building projects to help buyers better picture how this area could work for their lifestyle.
Local Area Panorama allows buyers to get a look and feel of the area by virtually wandering around the surroundings, whether it be exploring the recreational parks, the playgrounds for the kids, the shopping street nearby or the beautiful park only a stone’s throw away from the house. Local Area Panorama is compatible on mobile, tablet and desktop, as well as on Gear VR and Web-VR, meaning users are able to share their potential new home with family and friends wherever they are in the world.
Some of the DIAKRIT team attended the spectacular event, providing branded VR glasses and explaining how to use the technology to visualise this exciting project.
